Battle for Silventia is a strategic medieval style board game in which you play as a wizard fighting for control of the empire. To defeat your opponent and be crowned as ruler you can control soldiers, construct barricades, and cast spells to destroy the enemy fortification. At the beginning of the match, both wizards have an opportunity to set the field of play, after which the battle will commence with turn-based actions.
I worked with just three other people on this 1.5 month project. My roles included designing the story and context for the gameplay, designing and iterating on the mechanics, and building the physical game set with a laser cutter.
